Dr. Andrew Siedlecki has been in private practice since 1989. Dr. Siedlecki holds two Ivy League degrees. He graduated magna cum laude in Biochemistry from Dartmouth College and earned a Doctor of Medicine with High Honors from Cornell University's Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Siedlecki completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Millard Fillmore hospital and was Chief Resident of Ophthalmology at The Medical College of Virginia--Virginia Commonwealth University.
He has served on several advisory boards and is Board Certified by both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Board of Eye Surgery. He has served as a consulting ophthalmologist for the Buffalo Zoo. Dr. Siedlecki has worked with the Buffalo Bills and is Team Ophthalmologist for the Buffalo Sabres.
Dr. Siedlecki has treated thousands of patients at his four offices and has successfully performed over 30,000 surgeries using his customized approach. He specializes in cataract treatments and performs glaucoma surgery, diabetic laser treatment, eye lid lifts, and Implantable Contact Lenses as an alternative treatment to LASIK.
He is an avid golfer.
Western New York Native, Dr. Karen Walcott graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Biological Basis of Behavior with a concentration in Physiology of the Neural Systems and minor in Chemistry. She earned her Medical Degree from State University of New York at Buffalo and completed her general medicine internship at Mount Auburn Hospital, a Harvard University teaching hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Walcott completed a residency in Ophthalmology at Boston Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Walcott has performed research at SUNY Buffalo, Dent Neurological Institute, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and Strong Memorial Hospital in various areas of ophthalmology, neurology, and medicine.
Dr. Walcott is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma, diabetes, dry eyes, treatment of eye diseases.
Dr. Walcott is an avid swimmer and runner and has competed in both the New York City and Boston Marathons.
Dr. Atkinson completed his undergraduate studies from Brigham Young University and his Doctorate in Optometry from the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry.
Dr. Atkinson specializes in general eye care including vision assessment, medical follow-ups in glaucoma, pressure checks, infections, corneal abrasions, and dilated fundus exams.
Dr. Atkinson has extensive optometry experience and has been with Dr. Siedlecki since 2001.
Dr. Atkinson earned a Doctorate in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. He is an avid reader.
Dr. Battin earned his Doctor of Optometry at Illinois College of Optometry where he led a campaign to spread glaucoma awareness through the Chicago suburbs by heading the glaucoma mobile testing van at the Illinois Eye Institute in partnership with Friends of the Congressional Glaucoma Caucus Foundation.
Dr. Battin earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology at Syracuse University where he received the Ruth Myer Research Scholarship. He was a member of the Varsity Crew team. He is also a proud graduate of Canisius High School.
Dr. Battin specializes in comprehensive vision assessment, ocular diseases, and dry eye syndrome.
Dr. Battin is a member of SVOSH, an organization that travels throughout the world to provide eye exams and glasses to those in need. He is a CHS Big Brother and also enjoys playing and watching sports, attending concerts, and serves on the Board of Directors of Buffalo First.
Dr. Desai attended the University of California, Los Angeles and earned degrees in Psychobiology and Education. She received her doctorate from the State University of New York, College of Optometry in 2006.
Dr. Desai's clinical experience includes training at the University Optometric Center in New York; an externship specializing in Contact Lens, Cornea, and Prosthetics; and Primary Care at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She has been practicing in Buffalo since 2010.
Dr. Desai specializes in comprehensive eye care, including visual, accommodative and ocular health assessment, and dry eyes.
Dr. Desai is avid about living a healthy and active lifestyle and enjoys everything from running to kickboxing.
Dr. May earned degrees in French and pre-professional studies at the University of Notre Dame. Following in the footsteps of her grandfather and aunt, Dr. May earned her doctorate in Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 2010.
Dr. May furthered her studies and training earning a residency certificate from the New England College of Optometry in 2011. In February 2013, she was proud to travel with a team of volunteers to San Pedro Sula, Honduras to provide eye care and distribute donated eyeglasses to under-served patients.
Dr. May specializes in comprehensive vision and ocular health assessment and treatment, including pressure checks and glaucoma evaluation.
Born and raised in Orchard Park, Dr. May is a coach for the youth racing program at the Buffalo Ski Club.
